Here at Shadow Candles, we are doing our very best to be an environmentally friendly small business.

Here's what we are doing:

• All our Candles and Wax Melts are made with a natural soy wax that is vegan, cruelty free and non-toxic which is purchased from a reputable company.
• Our Candle Wicks are made from pure long strand ring spun cotton and paper which are ecological and environmentally friendly.
• The amber jars our Candles and Reed Diffusers come in are reusable and recyclable when washed out with warm soapy water.
• Our Reed Diffusers come in a paper box which is recyclable. 
• As a rule, we do not use plastic packaging when shipping out orders. If a large order is received with bubble wrap in, that bubble wrap has been reused from our deliveries at home so that it's not a one-use product. We can't stop companies using bubble wrap, so we believe it's better to reuse it as much as possible.
• The safety labels on our Candles and Wax Melts are made from recycled paper.
• We recycle all cardboard and packaging that comes with our business supplies.

As we grow and develop as a small business, we will look for further ways to be kind to our environment.
