Product Care and Safety Information

To get the most out of your Shadow Candles products, and to enjoy it safely please read our care and safety information.

For Candles:

• Allow the wax to melt to the edge of the glass on first use to avoid tunnelling.
• Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.
  
• Always trim the wick to 5mm to avoid smoking.
• Never leave a candle near anything that may catch fire.
• Never leave a candle burning unattended.
• Protect the surface where your candle is lit.
• Keep your candle out of the reach of children and pets.

For Wax Melts:

• To prevent fire and serious injury, burn melt within sight.
• Keep away from draughts.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Do not move whilst lit.
• Never leave a candle or wax melt burning unattended.
• Remove all packaging and place your melt in the well of the oil burner.
• Use with an unscented tea light.

For Reed Diffusers:

• Do not light reeds, the liquid is flammable.
• Do not swallow the liquid.
• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• People suffering from perfume sensitivity should be cautious when using this product.
• Use gloves when handling the reeds.
• Do not place the diffuser directly onto polished, painted, plastic or leather surfaces or on electrical equipment, accidental spillage may cause damage to certain materials.
